It's been a long time since I did a Story Time Sunday post; I guess over the summer I had plenty of new stories to tell, leaving no time for narrating old favorites like this one. Anyway, this is the story of the time I broke the law for 20 feet. Not so serious, but it's fun to tell, anyway.
Apologies for the lame visuals for this one. This should really just be an audio thing, but Blogger is weird and I only know how to do videos.
P.S. In case it's not obvious, during driver's ed I only had a learner's permit, allowing me to drive only with a licensed driver in the passenger seat.

Did you get into trouble?
No, no, if the teacher had any desire to rat me out, he was probably held back by the humiliation of having a student leave him on the side of the road during a lesson, and even possible negative repercussions from the driving school for allowing that to happen.
I think he was more shocked than angered by the whole situation, anyway. At least the teaser could take a prank played on him.
Haha, well played Eleni! He pretty much got what he deserved. :)
Thanks, I like to think so.
I suppose I could have tried asking him to stop teasing me...but I'm no good with confrontation (I'll fumble the words, have bad timing, start getting teary eyed or whatever to make it even worse). Much easier just to drive away--and then stop before I get into too much trouble.
